My time at 3 Birds Marketing was very diverse in that I worked on HTML, CSS and JavaScript as much as I worked on wireframing for a new website template. This position helped me grow a lot in my design career and pushed me further into exploring user research.
1. Building a Design System
3 Birds’ platform, The Wire, had a lot of different applications that were built by multiple developers and designers over the years. While there are some consistent styles and elements share among the apps, largely they do not have the same overall look and feel. As part of the UX Team at 3 Birds, we decided it was in the best interest of the company to create a 3 Birds Design System, that outlines design standards for the entire platform. We built an internal site that is accessible to all designers and developers at the company, establishing design principles while accommodating scalability.
2.Responsive Email Templates
One of my favorite projects I worked on at 3 Birds was wireframing, designing, coding, and testing our new suite of email templates for our internal platform.
3. Culture Committee and TV Displays
As part of the culture committee, I loved designed our TV slides that would play on the different displays in the office that showcased our values, played with our branding, and highlighted events at the company.
